Forest Rangers assist injured hiker in Greene County

HUNTER, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Forest Rangers from the Department of Environmental Conservation responded to Hunter Mountain on the evening of July 12. A hiker sustained a leg injury but was able to make it to her car by using a walking stick.

Rangers Dawson and Jackson located the hiker and provided medical care. The hiker drove herself to urgent care. Resources were clear shortly after 9 p.m.
